A large Chinese porcelain 'Hu'-shaped vase decorated in underglaze blue to one side against a white background, depicting a river landscape with figures in boats, a Chinese house on poles in the water, trees and grasses issuing from rockworks and mountains and clouds at the top section, all below a ring in relief above which a moon in the clouds, lion heads to the shoulder in brown, square character mark to the underside, wooden stand, China, late 19th/early 20th century -H. 46 cm, chip to the foot rim, one curl of the mane of one lion missing, minor firing flaws-
