Percussion pistol, produced around 1825 by London gunmakers for the East India Company, eventually ended up in the Nizam of Hyderabad’s armoury and exported in the 1970's. Lockplate marked '3 under Crown' and the logo of the East India Company, various markings on barrel, including later police marking 'APX-1340-EX-73'.
