AR provincial guilder with standing Pallas, 1762. Gelderland with two unattributed countermarks, respectively c/m of 5 raised dots within of 4 petal flower and a c/m in the shape of “star like ornament ” as also found on doits found in Jaffna (Scho.1257A; v.d. Wis G 23A). The usual attribution to Sumanep may not be correct as the provenance of this coin is Sintang district in West Kalimantan / West Borneo. Interesting and rare. VF
