AR large fanam of 6 stivers (1.44 g.), ND (c. 1675). Obv.: A human figure resembling Kali. On the breast a Shanka shell with cluster of 4 dots to right / rev.: a lazy J, with O C (Oostindische Companie) above and 2, resp 3 rows of 4 dots. The large fanam of 6 stivers, struck at Negapatnam, was intended for export to Ceylon, Cochin and the Pearl Fishery (Tuticorin).
