Assortment of early currency forms including bronze hachuelas (axe money) from Mexico, large broad-head style axes attributed to the Aztecs, and small bronze axes of a type found in Ecuador (cf. Opitz 23–25). Also included are several miscellaneous axe-like pieces, possibly European, together with a group of arrowheads and Skythia / Olbia - cast AE Dolphin-coins, ca. 5th century BC. A diverse and intriguing collection. Overall Good to Very Good condition.
