AR Antoninianus (Rome, as Caesar AD 244-246, 4.07g) - M IVL PHILIPPVS CAES Radiate and draped bust right / PRINCIPI IVVENT Philippus II standing facing, head right, globe in outstretched left hand, transverse spear in right (RIC 216c) - a.XF. Philippus II (son of Pilippus I) became Caesar at the age of only seven, in AD 244, and died when he was only twelve, when his father was killed by Traianus Decius' army in AD 249.
