Crowned city arms Amsterdam above 1578 and denomination V, mm to the left / Rev. Blank - VF/XF - extremely rare - Ex. collection Vinkenborg, bought auction J. Schulman 1960 - The lowest denomination of 5 stuiver of this second emission with reworked 'blanked' dies, is seldomly seen. The exact context of this second emission is sadly not known from any archival sources, though since original reworked dies were used for its production, must have taken place shortly after the alteration.
