A Chinese porcelain cup and saucer decorated with the 'Diving bird' decor in underglaze blue. Identical cups and saucers were salvaged from the Diana Cargo which sank in 1817 and ultimately sold at Christie's Amsterdam in the 'Diana Cargo Sale', 6 & 7 March 1995. Together with two plates with a slightly different decoration, China, ca. 1816 -Cup: H. 5,6 cm, D. 11,2 cm; Saucer: D. 16,4 cm, a few hairline cracks-
