Seven Chinese porcelain 'Bleu de Hue' wares comprising a larger and smaller dish, a larger cup and four smaller cups, all decorated with figures in a landscape scene and calligraphy, metal rims, various marks to the base including the 'Nei Fu' mark to the larger cup which translates to 'Inner Court'. Bleu de hue is a type of Chinese porcelain made for the Vietnamese market. The best "Bleu de Hue" was ordered by the Vietnamese court by way of diplomatic missions to China. Most of them were produced in Jingdezhen with special designs and marks. Hue is the name of the old city where the Vietnamese King resided at the time.
