A large Sino-Tibetan gilt bronze statue of Green Tara seated on a lotus throne and with turquoise inlay. Green Tara is a symbol of enlightened activity and abundance, often seen as a Bodhisattva or Buddha of compassion and action. She is a protector who comes to one's aid to relieve physical, emotional, and spiritual suffering.
