A very good blue and white Kraak porcelain charger, the center decorated with a bird on the ground below a vase of flowers and two butterflies, the flat rim is decorated with alternating panels of flowers and scenes of figures in a landscape. Quite typical for this type of border is the use of Transitional style motifs and it may be considered one of the earliest types of Transitional porcelain.
