A mahogany apothecary box with fitted interior containing 11 bottles to the top, the drawer below with removeable section contains a scale, tweezers, etc., the drawer itself contains six bottles, glass pestle and mortar, small measuring jug. The rim of the drawer stamped 'Springweiler & Co. Makers, London', active between 1802-1842, brass handles, England, first half 19th century -21 x 19 x 16 cm-
