A keris bahari 'Sumatran rapier kris' keris panyang, very long straight bladed, silver cup, wooden handle tapa guda (horse), with intricate carvings such as tumpals and lozenge/diamond shaped panel, crescent shaped wrangka wulan tumanggan scabbard keris anak alang, embellished with several embossed silver cartouches depicting bintang (stars) and buntut. Keris lurus like these are rare weapons originating from the XII Kòtô and Rantau Baru (Riau province). It is worn under the left arm, by means of a band that goes over the shoulder, - L. 64,5 cm. -
