Navy version of the Beaumont M1871 rifle, marked "P.Stevens", Maastricht", dated 1872, mismatched parts, with distictive small rearsight and side mounted bayonet lug, for Yatagan bayonet, stock addorned with cartouche "St. Etienne 1877", added French 1866 Chassepot bayonet which is similar to the Dutch navy version, rifle shows wear and is in functional condition
