Een curieuze valsgeld-detector cq. weegschaaltje voor gouden en zilveren Amerikaanse munten (ca 24 x 5 cm). De munt diende in de betreffende sleuf gestoken te worden en als de balans dan overhelde was het gehalte van de munt goed. Als de balans niet overhelde was de munt dus te licht en dus vals of bijgesnoeid.
