Bernard Matemera (1946-2006): A stone sculpture of a head, mounted on a wooden base, signed to the underside in the stone 'Matemera' -h. head 52 cm, base: 70 cm- Bernard Matemera was a Zimbabwean sculptor. The sculptural movement of which he was part is usually referred to as 'Shona sculpture', and exhibited world wide.
