Portugal - France 5 Francs 1812-M (KM694.11) countermarked with crowned Coat of Arms of Portugal. This countermark was applied, by provision of 1 September 1834, on Spanish and Spanish-American AR 8 reales. The c/m therefore on a French coin makes it doubtfull and possibly a later fabrication - Host coin VF, countermark a.XF
