Phrygia / Eumeneia - AE20 (c. 41-40 BC, 7.72 g) - Zmertorix, the son of Philonides, magistrate – Draped and winged bust of Fulvia (as Nike) right / Helmeted Athena advancing left, holding shield and spear (RPC 3139 / BMC 20) - good VF, dark black patina, a rare coin, exceptional condition for this issue. Fulvia was the first wife of Marcus Antonius. To honour her, the city of Eumenia (Phrygia) was renamed by Marcus’ partisans to Fulviana.
