Wooden box covered with green paper and red leather, in four compartments medal shaped tin boxes (“schraubtaler”) each containing round sheats of paper, printed with hand coloured images and descriptions of battles of the German and French Campaigns 1813-1814, connected by a ribbon. A. Box 49 mm dated 1813 - Obv. Justice, Wisdom and Concord standing / Rev. Seven-columned temple; 12 images of German battles 1813. B. Box 30 mm – Obv. Crown Prince Karl of Württemberg / German warrior; 8 images of French battles 1814. C. Box 30 mm – Obv. Blücher / Rev. German warrior; 8 images of French battles 1814. D. Box 49 mm - Obv. Busts of Franz I, Alexander I and Wilhelm II / Rev. Germania; 12 images of French battles 1814. Some wear but a very attractive set.
