Escudo 1622 S-D, Seville (cf.KM44.2, cf.CCT175, cf.Cayon6602, cf.Fr.211) - Obv: Crowned arms / Rev: Cross of Jerusalem within quadrilobe, annulets in outer angles - Gold 3.32 gram - NGC AU50, the mintage of Escudos of Seville starts, at least according to the catalogues in the year of 1623. There is no mentioning of mintage in 1622. This Escudo, graded and slabbed this year by NGC, has the (up to now) unknown date of 1622. To our best knowledge this could be a unique piece!
