Magnesia ad Meandrum - AV Stater (c. 155-145 BC, 8.46 g) - Euphemus and Pausanius, magistrates - Draped bust of Artemis to right wearing stephane, hair gathered into knot, quiver and bow over shoulder / ΜΑΓΝΗΤΩΝ above Nike standing in biga to right, holding kentron and reins, horses prancing right (ΕΥΦΗΜΟΣ below horses, ΠΑΥΣΑΝΙΟΥ below base line (SNG Von Aulock -- / SNG Copenhagen --) - somewhat worn dies, otherwise VF/XF, well centered, a very rare piece, unrecorded (see Heritage Auctions sale 3056, lot 30066)
