Verguld insigne 'C.I.O.', uitgegeven in oplage 100 voor leden van het I.O.C. met wit lint 'C.I.O.' en in oplage 7 voor ere-juryleden met oranje rosette. Dit exemplaar heeft echter 4 linten: wit 'C.I.O.', oranje/blauw 'Comité Organisateur' (in combinatie met een zilveren insigne uitgegeven voor leden van het organisatiecomité), blauw 'Comité Olimpique' (voor de voorzitters van de nationale comités) en 'Féderation International' (voor de voorzitters van de internationale sportbonden), curieus exemplaar, wellicht een proefexemplaar? / Gild badge 'C.I.O.' with white ribbon 'C.I.O.', 100 of these were made for the members of the IOC. However, this one has 3 more ribbons behind the first white one: orange and blue with 'Comité Organisateur' (for the members of the organising committee), dark blue with 'Comité Olympique' (for the presidents of the national committees) and a light brown one with 'Fédération International' (for the presidents of the international sports federations), strange specimen which is not mentioned in the N.O.C.'s official report
