Lot consisting of several items concerning the D-2 Spacelab Mission from April 26th to May 6th 1993 with the spaceshuttle Columbia. The D-2 Mission augmented the German microgravity research program started by the D-1 Mission, it conducted 88 experiments to study life sciences, material sciences, technology applications, earth observations, astronomy, and atmospheric physics. The lot contains a scientific suitcase, with several syringes and metal containers, a plastic case, three badges named to Hilda Jung-Heiliger, who was responsible for the experiment, two stickpins and a scarf signed by the participants of the mission. Very interesting lot, should be viewed.
