AR Tetradrachm (Amphipolis c 288-281 BC, 17.00 g) - Diademed head of Alexander the Great to right with horn of Ammon / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ Athena seated left, holding Nike in right hand and leaning with left arm on shield ornamented with lion's head (monogram in inner left field and in ex.) (Müller 544 / Thompson 211) - struck in high relief with an impressive portrait, a lovely piece with some small insignificant scratches obv. and minor porosity.
