Highest price for coin in the Netherlands
We often set coin records during our auctions. But the sale of a VOC Ducaton in 2019 really stood out.
Not only because of the high price of almost two tons: a new Dutch record. But also because of what this meant for a family in De Bilt. They found the coin in a jewelry box and were previously unaware of its high value.
