Military Order of William auctioned off for 21,000 euros

The Military Order of William is the highest and oldest dinstinction in the Netherlands. This one was awarded in 1848, to former Minister of the Navy Julius Constantijn Rijk.

The award, which had hung in a frame on the wall for years, yielded 21,000 euros at our auction in january 2021.
