Unveiling Treasures in Our February Art, Collectibles, Jewelry, and Trading Cards Auction

Prepare to be captivated as we provide an exclusive preview of our forthcoming art, collectibles, jewelry, and trading cards auction, scheduled from February 14th to 17th. Here, we present a sneak peek into a selection of remarkable highlight lots that will be featured during the four-day event.

Starting with the absolute highlight lot of the auction, featured on the cover of the auction’s catalogue is Lot 2698, a painting of an elegant young girl by Isaac Lazarus Israels (1865-1924). Bidding for this amazing work of art will start at €60,000.

Also featured in this auction is an impressive private collection of whiskies. Lots 1500 to 1650 feature whiskies from various countries and values. The absolute star of this category is Lot 1622, The Balvenie, Cask 191, a 50-year-aged single malt Scotch whisky, number 45 of 83 bottles. Other amazing lots include a Macallan Single Highland Malt Scotch Whisky from 1961, one of only 379 bottles, and an Ardbeg 16-year-old Single Malt Scotch Whisky. These whiskies cater to the higher segment of the market, but there is also plenty of choice from the lower segment, such as Lot 1539, a Suntory Hibiki blended whisky from Japan, with a starting price of just €330. These whiskies not only offer exquisite taste but also serve as potential investments for collectors.

Another important private collection featured in the auction is the Belgian ethnographic collection, Lots 2271 to 2506. A wild array of African objects, some of which have been officially deaccessioned from the National Museum Libreville Gabon and come with certificates and export documents. Like Lot 2496, the impressive large fang figure.

Also notable is the collection of factice in the auction. Factice are perfume bottles made by manufacturers for display and advertising purposes, now sought after by collectors and interior decorators alike. This auction boasts factice from renowned brands like Prada, Cartier, Gucci, Lancome, Givenchy, and more.

Furthermore, explore the large collection of artworks that the municipality of IJsselstein has put up for auction. IJsselstein, the city where our European headquarters are located, will auction a collection of art acquired over the past 70 years. The proceeds from these artworks will be reinvested in art and culture in IJsselstein.

Not to be forgotten is the extensive collection of Pokémon and other trading cards games. The auction includes many graded and ungraded cards, with standout lots including the entire collection of cards from the Gold Star series in various qualities. Also Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Digimon are featured in this auction.
