Role of Assistant Controller
As Assistant Controller, you will be responsible for the entire company’s administration of HAE. You will work closely with the external controller and the management team, playing a crucial role within our organization.
Your responsibilities include:
- Managing the complete financial administration (accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger).
- Performing the month-end closing and providing clear financial reports.
- Managing the administration of international subsidiaries.
- Processing various administrative data and optimizing processes.
- Proposing improvements for bookings, processes, and reporting.
- Conducting checks on the financial administration.
- Handling international VAT returns.
What we expect from you
- A higher professional education (HBO) level, preferably in a financial field.
- Strong numerical skills and excellent analytical insight.
- Proactive and independent: you take initiative and follow through.
- Stress-resistant and able to maintain an overview: you have the helicopter view.
- You handle confidential information with care.
- Excellent command of Excel and experience with ERP systems.
- You live in (or around) Utrecht.
- You are fluent in English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
- Preferably, you hold a driving license.
