Album with very interesting lot Assignats: 50 Livres 30.4.1792 with portrait King Louis XVI at top (P. A58) - Total 49 pcs. partially consecutive serial numbers in a.UNC/UNC - added 2x 10 sous 1792 (P. A64), 6x 50 sols 1793 (P. A70), 5x 10 Livres 1791-92 (P. A51, A66) + 2x 400 Livres 1792 (P. A73). This lot of assignats was found under a roof several years ago. The lot was bundled in two documents which are two receipts dated 1795 on the name of mr. Eugene Lambrecht and his sister Isabelle. One document, dated 25 april 1795, confirms the payment of 96 guilders 12 stuyvers 6 denier Brabants courant related to an invoice for wine deliveries dated January 23, 1793 for the sum of 177 livres 9 sols 5 French deniers. The payment was done in assignats. The other document, dated May 30, 1795, is related to a payment of a financial intrest for a loan of 2500 ‘couronnes de France’. The intrest payment was 1600 ‘livres de France‘ in assignats.
