AR Denarius (as Caesar, plated, 1.79g) - T CAESAR VESPASIAN AVG Laureate head right / COS V She-wolf standing left, head turned back, suckling the twins Romulus and Remus (boat in ex.) (cf. BM 146 pl. 47.19, plated with different obv. legend) - very rare, VF - This is a plated contemporary counterfeit, with the same reverse as a Denarius of Domitianus (RIC 961) and with an unknown obverse legend for Titus as Caesar (cf. Gemini, LLC, auction X, 673, January 13, 2013, same dies!)
