Lot of 7 tin “boat-money” ingots, c. 15th–18th century. Group of seven cast tin (possibly tin–lead alloy) ingots in the distinctive boat or canoe shape, historically used as primitive currency in Malay trading networks. Each features a curved crescent form with a central “prow” or pillar, intended to evoke a stylized boat or canoe. These items were often strung or worn, serving both transactional and ornamental purposes. Overall Good–Very Good condition, with surface wear consistent with age and use
