German Reich 1901. Imperial German Marine; the so called "Vineta Provisorium" ( Vineta Provisional), on piece with Certificate 'The Philatelic Foundation' 11/05/2007. It is genuine. We are of the opinion this is the so called 'Saftenberg-print' with cancellation "KAIS. DEUTSCHE MARINE SCHIFFSPOST 12/5 01.". This reprint was allegedly made at the request of various members of the staff, who were keen to obtain memorabilia. These items were previously considered counterfeits, but they still hold a certain philatelic interest and are relatively rare.
