Ref.: First published in the ONS-NL#181 by Wilfried Pieper, reportedly from Northern Pakisatan, suggesting that they might be Hunnic issues from the 6th or 7th centuries. In the Journal of the ONS #195, Pankaj Tandon re-examined the series at length and comes to the conclusion that they were issued in Sind in the 6th century by a Hunnic or post-Hunnic minor dynasty
