Prusias II Cynegos (182-149 BC) - AE20 (6.17g) - Wreathed head of Dionysos right / The centaur Chiron walking right, cloak over shoulder, playing lyre, BAΣΙΛΕΟΣ to right, ΠΡΟΥΣΙΟΥ to left, ΛΦ between forelegs (SNG Copenhagen 640 / BMC Pontus pg. 210, 3) - nice VF, black patina (ex CNG web 4/03). Chiron is believed to be one of the most famous Centaurs in Greek mythology, with key characteristics as wisdom, kindness and nobility.
