Obv.: Nimbate king holding staff-sceptre while sacrificing on altar; tiny spikes on halo seen in one particular die of this variety; Garuḍa banner at top left. Name samudra beneath left arm; circular legend as previous, from I o’clock. Rev.: Nimbate Śrī, with fillet and cornucopia, sits on throne with her feet on lotus; legend parākrama, ‘bold advance’ (Raven 1994a:225 (Var. A.2.1); Raven 2010: group SG.07; Kumar 2017/2024: Var. II.A.3; Raven frthcmg: SG/Group 4, Variety 2.5, Fr.70) - VF-XF, It illustrates the style well, but the SpG of 17.58 falls far beyond the range documented for coins of Group 4 (between 15.2-15.8) and it is much smaller (17 mm) than expected (21 mm)
