A very good blue and white Kraak porcelain charger, the center decorated with a bird on the ground below a vase of flowers and two butterflies, the flat rim is decorated with alternating panels of flowers and scenes of figures in a landscape. The reverse with seven floral panels separating cartouches. Quite typical for this type of border is the use of Transitional style motifs and it may be considered one of the earliest types of Transitional porcelain.
